Trump claims he's healthier than Obama amid health fears as leg brace 'spotted'V

Trump Calls Himself the Healthiest of Them All

During his Texas appearance, Trump turned a question about presidential fitness into a bit of a pop quiz. He asked the crowd who, among all the living presidents, is the most physically fit, naming himself, George W. Bush and Obama as the candidates. He then answered for himself, calling it an easy question and saying he is by far the healthiest president he has seen.

It's a familiar line. Trump has insisted for some time that his health is fine, and the comparison with Obama, who is 15 years younger, is clearly meant to push back on any suggestion that age is catching up with him.

What His Doctor Has Said

The White House has tried to calm the speculation with medical details. After a checkup at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Trump's physician said the president is in "excellent health" and fully fit to serve as commander in chief.

A report from Dr. Sean Barbabella said the exam included a CT scan and other cardiac imaging, along with cancer screenings and other preventative evaluations. According to the report, 22 specialists were involved.

The Video That Got People Talking

Even so, the rumors haven't gone away. The latest round started with video of Trump speaking to reporters in the White House driveway. He was surrounded by prominent tech industry figures at the time and was announcing what he described as a "morally binding" artificial intelligence agreement.

What caught viewers' attention was his stance. Some people on X said the way he held his legs looked odd and wondered whether something was "seriously wrong." The footage has also revived older chatter about bulges visible in his trousers, something onlookers have remarked on before.

Social Media Fills the Gap

Plenty of users were ready to offer theories. One claimed he was wearing braces on his legs and suggested he had access to experimental assistive devices not available to the public. Another said it was already "well-established" that he wears leg braces. Harry Sisson, a commentator and Trump critic, simply asked why Trump was standing that way. One reply to him said the posture looked just like how their grandfather stands with a brace.

An older photo also resurfaced from a Rose Garden event last year. It shows Trump from behind, and some users said they could make out something under his trousers. One person simply asked, "Leg braces?"

It's worth stressing that these are opinions from social media users. None of it has been confirmed, and nothing in the posts or photos establishes that he wears any kind of device.

An Ongoing Question About Age

Questions about Trump's health have followed him throughout this term. Last year he became the oldest person ever sworn in as president, and his age has been part of the conversation ever since. Each public appearance now seems to be scrutinized for clues, which may explain why a driveway press moment turned into a viral debate.

For now, the White House line is unchanged, and Trump himself is happy to say he's the healthiest president around. Whether that settles the conversation is another matter.
