Donald Trump spotted with mystery blonde glamour model on Marine One

The images that circulated online were taken from outside the aircraft, looking in through the helicopter's windows. Trump was seated with three other passengers, one of them the blonde figure who set social media guessing. She turned out to be Demaiter, and she wasn't there by chance her partner was on board with her.

That detail didn't stop the pictures from spreading quickly, partly because a strikingly similar shot had surfaced only days earlier.

Who is Mikayla Demaiter?

Before the modelling career, Demaiter was a goaltender. She played for the Bluewater Hawks in Canada, and after stepping away from the ice she moved into modelling, where a widely repeated nickname  "the world's sexiest ice hockey player"  followed her into a second career with a substantial online audience.

The DeChambeau connection

Bryson James Aldrich DeChambeau plays on the LIV Golf League and has never been shy about his relationship with Trump. He publicly celebrated the 2024 election result, and Trump has featured as a guest on his YouTube channel, where the golfer regularly posts rounds with high-profile names.

That closeness surfaced in an unusual way earlier this year. During The Open in the United Kingdom in July, DeChambeau disputed a two-stroke penalty and, according to reports at the time, told officials he would get Trump on the phone if the ruling wasn't reversed. The remark was widely read as a joke made in frustration, but it says something about how openly the two men's friendship is discussed in golfing circles.

Why the comparison to Natalie Harp came up

Four days before the Camp David flight, on September 16, Trump was photographed in a near-identical seating arrangement aboard Marine One, that time beside Natalie Harp, his executive assistant.

Harp, 35, has become one of the most visible staffers of Trump's second term. She turns up in the background of Cabinet meetings, at political events, and on trips aboard Air Force One. Her role reportedly carries a salary of around $150,000 a year. Melania Trump, by contrast, travels with the president far less frequently than in his first term.

The September 16 photos were taken as the group returned to Washington, D.C., following an event in Gastonia, North Carolina. Footage from the landing showed Trump in his red USA cap coming down the steps of the helicopter, with Harp a few paces behind in neutral-toned heels.

The bigger question: why leave Camp David early?

The part of the story with actual policy weight got less attention than the photographs. Trump's return came on the same day the State Department published a new worldwide-style caution for the Middle East, advising Americans in the region to exercise increased vigilance.

No official reason was given linking the two, and the White House did not tie the president's schedule change to the alert. But the coincidence was enough to fuel speculation that the shortened weekend had more to do with security briefings than with birthday celebrations.

For now, that remains speculation. What's confirmed is simpler and considerably less dramatic than the headlines suggested: a golfer, his girlfriend, a birthday, and a helicopter ride back to Washington.
