A pair of cheeky miniature Australian Labradoodles left their owner stunned when she arrived home to find them sitting proudly in an unexpected spot—the kitchen table.
Teddy, 1, and Indy, 3, were comfortably perched on the
kitchen island when their owner, Mandy, returned to her home in Almere,
Netherlands.
"I've secretly caught Teddy on the table before, but I
never imagined she would just sit there, waiting for me to come home,"
Mandy told Newsweek. "When I walked in and saw them like that, I
couldn’t help but laugh—of course, they’re not supposed to be up there!"
In a now-viral video, neither dog looks the least bit guilty
about their mischief. In fact, Teddy flips the situation around by barking at
Mandy as if she’s the one in trouble. Teddy slides across the table
while Indy remains unfazed, acting as though this is all perfectly normal.
"When I walked in, she acted like nothing had happened,
as if it was the most natural thing in the world," Mandy said. "But I
wasn’t too worried—at the end of the day, they’re dogs, and sometimes they just
get into trouble."
Fellow pet owners couldn’t get enough of the adorable
antics, with the video racking up over 202,000 views on TikTok.
"I think they were finishing up the dishes," joked
one user, Tammy. Another, Julie, shared her own experience: "After eight
years, we finally caught ours on the island with her face buried in a bowl of
leftover mac 'n' cheese."
Viewer Vanessa chimed in, saying her own dog has a similar
quirk: "Our mini Sheepadoodle loves to sit on our nightstands."
Mandy decided to share the video simply because she found
the moment hilarious—especially the way Teddy slid across the table.
Mischievous dogs getting caught in the act is nothing new.
Just recently, a large dog was filmed sneaking a bite of unattended cake at a
coffee shop. And last week, the internet came to the defense of a Great
Pyrenees who was caught red-handed destroying his owner’s pillows, leaving a
fluffy mess behind.
